Tibetan Cultural Festival in Dharma City

 

Tibet is situated in the Himalayas. This mountainous region's remoteness and inaccessibility contributed in preserving the unique and rich Tibetan culture and customs until these days. 
 
The Zangdok Palri Lotus Association is inviting you to discover some of Tibet’s ancient
and wondrous cultural heritage. 
The first Tibetan Cultural Festival will take place on Sunday, 26 September at Dharma City in Florennes (Belgium). 
 
Throughout the day we will offer you a varied program of activities. Just to mention a few: 
 
- Traditional Tibetan Dance and Theatre 
- Exhibition of traditional paintings (thangka)
- Photo exhibition picturing the life and culture in Tibet 
- Tibetan traditional food and hot drinks
- Shop for handicraft and jewelry
- Tibetan calligraphy and stone carving 
- Outdoor and indoor games
- Interesting contests with prizes
- Creative workshops for children 
 
 
The profit from the festival is dedicated entirely to the Sambhota school for Orphans, created by Zangdok Palri Lotus asbl. 

Every visitor will find something interesting at this festival. Everyone is very welcome at any time between 11.00 and 17.00 on Sunday!
