Subject:
The Rigdzin Dupa Sadhana: explanations

KhenpoThis year, the Dzogchen Winter Retreat will be guided by Khenpo Thubten Lodru Nyima, since Patrul Rinpoche will be abroad at that time.

We are delighted to announce that the subject of this retreat will be the Rigdzin Dupa Sadhana that is practised every month, on the 10th day of the Tibetan calendar. It is part of the Longchen Nyingthik, "The Heart Essence of the Great Expense" revealed by Rigdzin Jigme Lingpa during the 18th century.

Khenpo will teach the following aspects of the Guru Rinpoche in yab yum, with his 25 disciples: rigdzin dupa mandalapractice:
  • the visualisations and their meaning,
  • the mudras,
  • the different ways to practise it (like for instance when we are alone),
  • the main melodies,
  • how to play some of the instruments.
Khenpo will teach in Tibetan. Interpretation in English will be given, along with a French interpretation if required. Other languages may be provided if required and if an interpreter is available.

We invite you to take your own text of the practice, if you have already one.
